The LuxHammer

We’ve built plenty of multi-head HMI truss rigs over the years, but the LuxHammer was designed to go further: a flexible, multi-axis rig with lamps clustered as tightly as possible to virtually eliminate the “stadium shadow effect” that’s plagued multi-head systems in the past.

A full suite of custom-made diffusion textiles can be swapped in minutes, giving DPs and gaffers immediate creative options on set.

Focus control was a top priority. Our in-house DMX focus motors provide precise, incremental flood and spot adjustments across every fixture. That means DPs can quietly trim levels in those critical end-of-day moments, extending usable shooting time without interrupting performance.

The LuxHammer can be configured with 4 x 18K Arrimax, 18K Fresnels or 20K Tungsten units. In collaboration with our partners at Proservices Auckland, we can deliver up to three Magni-mounted LuxHammer rigs anywhere in New Zealand, on location or in studio.

For large-scale installations, a custom crane support system allows LuxHammer to be suspended and lowered directly into the set from outside, eliminating the need for a boom machine nearby.
