We are a group of experienced lighting Industry professionals from New Zealand with a vision and a passion to create and improve our sector of the Industry.

Never before has there been less time to light on set than there is now. Shoot days move fast, schedules are loaded.

5 years ago the IE team then a small group of like minded Gaffers and Rigging Gaffers got together around a table. The Brief was simply to improve the lighting landscape. To Develop lighting  systems that created time. Time for the Cinematographer, time for the Gaffer and time for the Production.

Gone were the days of scissor lifts moving around studios and sets to tweak or re-rig lights between shots and scenes. The vision was to not rig anything in the studios that we couldn’t control. Total Aerial Automation and Firepower Flexibility was the Goal.

We began to develop our own automated HMI rigs, remote heads, focus motors and studio softbox systems. Multi axis boom mounted flyswat rigs, Boom and crane mounted night lighting rigs, Small and Large scale Omni directional Moon systems,  beam dollies and more.

We now have Elevating/Lowering/Panning/tilting/flooding/spotting and Lateral movement all in the bag for almost any fixture or cluster of fixtures you wish to choose for your project.
